Columbia Presbyterian Church
I'm New to CPC

Welcome to CPC!

Our purpose: Encouraging you to encounter God, to enter into a life-changing relationship with Jesus, and to allow the Holy Spirit to show you your place in God’s work.

If you are a first time visitor or have visited many times, our goal is for you to feel comfortable when visiting Columbia!  Whether it is on a Sunday morning or another day during the week, we want you to know what to expect before walking through the doors.

Worship Services

alter 2Let's be honest, we all have our differences...that's part of the mystery God gave us in creation.  Each of us has different ways we interact with God, and that includes worship preferences. So at CPC, we offer two unique worship services, each with its own style.  The sermon is the same at each service:

9:00am service: Traditional Service
This service contains all of the common elements of a traditional worship service and is led musically by the organ/piano. We sing a variety of hymns, while anthems are offered by different choirs of voices and bells. Communion is served on the 1st Sunday of each month.
10:30am service: Contemporary Service
This high energy service is led by our worship team with a full praise band and includes a variety of music styles. There is also a children's message each week before the sermon.  Communion is served on the 1st Sunday of each month.

What is available for my children/youth?

We always welcome and encourage our families to come to worship together.  We also have child care and educational options which vary by service times.  There are also mid-week groups and activities for all ages.  For more information, please visit our children and youth ministry pages.

What about classes for adults?

Education is a key component to experiencing life-change in Christ, so we offer a regular host of classes throughout the year.  Topics include core theology, biblical and topical studies.  Classes are offered on Sunday mornings as well as throughout the week.  For a complete list of current and upcoming classes, please visit our adult ministry page.

What do I wear?

We hope you come to church in whatever makes you feel comfortable. We care more about you and your relationship with Jesus than what you look like.

Where do I park?

Three parking lots are available. The main lot just outside the main entrance, the upper lot just off Columbia Ridge Dr. and St. Helens Ave. and the lower lot off of  Columbia Ridge Dr. and Butte Ave.  Limited street parking is also available.

How can I learn more about Columbia?

God has given us a clear vision and purpose as to why we exist as a church and what God has called us to do in Clark County.  We invite you to check out our Core Values page to learn more about what it means to be a part of the CPC family.  If you have questions about what Presbyterians believe in context to other Christian denominations, check our out Core Beliefs page.  After you have visited CPC and you find this is where God is calling you and your family, we encourage you to check out the Finding Your Place page for more info in plugging in at Columbia.
